What is the Implementing SAFe® training?
Implementing SAFe® is an accredited training from Scaled Agile Inc. designed for those responsible for introducing SAFe in organizations. Experts who have successfully taken the exam after this training become so-called SAFe® Program Consultants (SPCs). These are exceptional change agents who, using their extensive experience and SAFe® learning materials, set up structures, educate and initiate processes to enable agile value delivery at scale.
Participants in the training gain the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully introduce and scale agile practices across the organization. The training includes a discussion of the key elements of SAFe, practical exercises and case studies to help you understand how to drive Lean-Agile transformation, launch Agile Release Trains (ARTs), cultivate a DevOps culture, build Continuous Delivery Pipeline processes and manage Lean Portfolios.
This four-day training course covers the scope of the Leading SAFe® training on Day 1-2, and then on Day 3-4 provides a rich compendium of proven patterns. This allows you to practice the actionable methods for successful introduction of the Lean-Agile approach in large enterprises.
Who’s behind this?
Dean Leffingwell as the creator and main methodologist known for the bestselling “Scaling Software Agility: Best Practices for Large Enterprises” and Drew Jemilo as co-creator, main contributor, consultant and instructor, are at the forefront of the SAFe® concept. The whole concept is based on the experience of co-creators and other contributors starting from 2011, when the first version of this concept was developed.
Over 200 Scaled Agile Partners around the world (along with independent trainers) provide training, consulting and support complex organizations in long-term digital transformations.
What benefits do you get?
Training enables participants to better understand their organization, the challenges it faces, and to effectively steer its growth. It contains theoretical knowledge and practical methods taken from systems theory, complexity theory, value streams, combination of a project, process and product approach, change management and many other topics.
